with ginger and macadamia nut This is my personal favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, I often make these as presents for friends. They use golden syrup and an extra yolk to keep their texture soft and chewy cookies,

Pre heat oven to 195 Celsius, line trays with baking paper. Cream butter and sugars ( castor, brown + golden syrup ). Add eggs one at a time, whipping more between each add vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, salt 3 times and then fold thru the mix. Finely chop the macadamia nuts and glace ginger and stir thru the mix with the chocolate chips. Roll small balls of the mix and place on the baking tray, press down the tops with a fork, add some extra chocolate bits if you want and bake at 195 for about 11 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the tray then carefully remove to a cooling rack.
This cookie recipe is very easy, and I challenge you to find a better one.!
